It’s time for legends at SWR, as Extreme Noise Terror are no ordinary act. Formed in 1985 under the heavy influence of an unstable concoction of Discharge, Anti Cimex, Rattus and Antisect, they soon began twisting hardcore punk onto something different, but it wasn’t until Napalm Death coined the “grindcore” term that the press found a place for them. Short songs with simple yet powerful riffs engulfed by fast drums as sharp political lyrics find their way through a pair of raging microphones prone to make the crowd squirm through the pit, those who enjoy their shows quietly are advised to watch this one from a reasonable distance, for there’s gonna be violence.
