AURA NOIR

Norway
  • Day 2

Doesn’t feel like it, but it’s been more than 30 years already since two central figures of Norways black and thrash (and more), Carl-Michael “Aggressor” Eide and Ole Jørgen “Apollyon” Moe, got together to make a band that merged their main influences. Just a few years later, they were joined by a gentleman who had just joined Mayhem too, some guy known as Blasphemer – one of Almada, Portugal’s most distinct citizens, “our” (we can claim him already, it’s been a while!) Rune Eriksen. AURA NOIR’s black/thrash has been firing on all cylinders since then, they are one of the style’s most celebrated bands, and their path, both on record and on stage, quite frankly doesn’t need any more introductions. Just to think that we’re going to listen to “Condor”, “Conqueror” or “Hades Rise” again, our hands are already raised and doing the horns all by themselves.
