AVERSIO HUMANITATIS play black metal built on dissonance, repetition and control. Hailing from Madrid, with a respectable amount of experience given their sixteen year trajectory, the band lean into long-form songwriting, letting riffs cycle and evolve rather than rushing from point to point. The result is a sound that feels tense and suffocating, driven as much by atmosphere as by aggression. Across releases like “Abandonment Ritual” or “Behold The Silent Dwellers”, Aversio Humanitatis have developed a very individual style. A week before the festival, they will actually release their brand new album, their first in six years and only the third of their career – “To Become The Endless Static” promises a lot, and we will be lucky to catch its first echoes, giving this show a sense of purpose that will certainly generate unreal intensity.
