Despite a somewhat irregular trajectory, having broken up twice already, CANCER are nevertheless one of Europe’s big names within the death metal genre and a very important piece of its history. Famously, the first death metal band to sign for a major label, for their 1995 album «Black Faith», it’s nevertheless with absolute classics such as «To The Gory End» and «Death Shall Rise» that they have established their impeccable reputation, and after having reformed in 2013, they have offered us a titanium-strong effort in 2018’s «Shadow Gripped» and have been touring all around the world proving they are still part of the leading pack. They will visit Barroselas with a reformed line-up based in Spain, but with the inimitable John Walker as ever leading the troops. We can’t wait!
