Formed in California in 1991, EXHUMED are one of the most enduring and recognisable names in death/grind, standing at the crossroads of gore-drenched extremity, sharp songwriting and relentless energy. Emerging from the early underground scene with a clear devotion to grindcore and classic death metal, the band quickly carved out a distinct identity defined by speed, precision and unapologetic violence. Albums such as “Gore Metal”, “Slaughtercult” and “Anatomy Is Destiny” established the band as a reference point within extreme metal, combining raw aggression with memorable structures and a deep respect for the genre’s gory roots. More recently, the band have continued to refine their sound without softening its impact, a trajectory that reaches a new chapter with "Red Asphalt", scheduled for release in 2026 via Relapse Records and serving as the driving force behind the tour that will bring them to Barroselas.
