It takes some cojones to come from the colourful and polytheistic India under the name GODLESS. And if you think it's unusual to see a death metal band from Hyderabad on the SWR stage, it's because you haven't heard them yet. Since their formation in 2015, Godless have established themselves as one of the most intense bands on the Asian scene, combining a technical and relentless sound with thrash influences and a modern, groove-laden approach. In their still short discography, crowned with the album “States of Chaos” (2021) and the recent EP “Genesis of Decay” (2025), they offer us surgical precision combined with devastating energy, with a baritone wall of guitars and bone-crushing drums. Godless, if you'll allow such a cringe-worthy statement, is proof that metal knows no boundaries.
