On the already distant year of 2007, with SWR celebrating its tenth anniversary, INFERNO visited us for the first time, coming from their homeland of Czechia, and already then they were not really a recent band anymore, bringing with them their excellent third album, «Nikdy Nepokřtěni». Since then, always among countless split and live and other smaller releases, they have put out five more full-lengths, with the most recent one, 2001’s mazey «Paradeigma (Phosphenes Of Aphotic Eternity)», a clear peak in their discography, culminating a brutal evolution that places them now very near the leagues inhabited by Deathspell Omega and similar entities. A perfect time for our paths to cross again, then.
