The forlorn wanting of an evil to match the most devilish displacement of human thought has often led the extreme metal community to the most wanted of untoward locales. Seeming newcomers as they formed in 2008 the origins of the band trace as far back as 2003 as Helsinki teenagers formed a melodic death/thrash influenced band that soon evolved to a more serious approach to ancient death metal. KRYPTS would begin as a duo in 2008 and quickly release their infamous, mind-rending «Open the Crypt» demo soon after, followed by an EP, debut LP «Unending Degradation» in 2013 and sophomore release «Remnants of Expansion». «Cadaver Circulation», their most recent album, is a standout death/doom release that has risen from the swamp to haunt our days.
