Their journey to Barroselas will be a short one, from Braga, but that’s good, as we want MORTO to keep all the energy that they can. After all, it’s just two dudes responsible for all this unholy racket. Both of them members of one of the biggest SWR classics, the legendary Vai-te Foder (translated as "Go Fuck Yourself"; the ideal band to watch at 3am on the outside stage as any festival veteran will tell you), and between them, with seats on some other phlegm-ridden spat-outs of the local underground (Horrification, Capela Mortuária, Holocausto Canibal, you get the gist of it), Morto offer an old-school kind of death/grind, and each live show is a set of savage discharges which inevitably cause very rude movements in the moshpit. Up until now they only had two small releases to their name, "Morto" from 2020 and "Morto Vivo" from 2022, but just recently the forthcoming, promisingly titled "Tales From The Crypt" was announced, so there will be fresh meat to slice through at SWR. They never wrote a song above the three minute mark before, will there be any surprises in the new album? We’ll see!
