Formed in 1996, Helvetian four-piece NOSTROMO emerged in the middle of a bubbling hardcore scene. Complex and technical, their masterpiece «Ecce Lex» was released in 2002 and, with its uncompromising production – engineered by Mieszko Talarczyk of Swedish Nasum –, the album raised to the rank of extreme metal underground. They soon started touring relentlessly across Europe; live appearances alongside legends such as Slayer, Motörhead, Mastodon or Converge have fashioned the four juggernauts into a phenomenal live act. In the mid-2000s, Nostromo split due to unsolvable tensions and reunited eleven years later for an informal private show. A few pictures posted on social media networks were enough to spark things off: Gojira jumped at the chance to invite them on their tour. Galvanized by this substantial interest, Nostromo rose from the ashes and released their EP «Narrenschiff» in 2019, followed by «Bucephale», the band’s first full-length since «Ecce Lex». Even darker this time, Nostromo's skillfulness and fury hit the nail on the head.
