PROFANATION’s pedigree is already established even before listening to them, with connections to bands as illustrious as Deströyer 666 or Regarde Les Hommes Tomber. They are however their own beast, despite their relatively recent formation, as it was clearly noticeable on their only release so far, the pulverizing “Skull Crushing Violence” EP (2023). It’s a simple title, but it describes the savagery going on during its twenty brutal minutes perfectly, a mix of black, death and grind that’s close to the intensity of war metal. Their violent live shows have started to garner them an infamous reputation, and they now prepare to profanate Barroselas’ stage, in what could be the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
