Over a quarter of a century as a band already, and there is not much left to say about the devastating ROTTEN SOUND – or rather, there would not have been much left to say if their most recent album, «Apocalypse», wasn’t at the same time a highly anticipated piece, as well as a vigorous comeback for the Finnish act. Created in 1993, the quartet lead by guitarist Mika Aalto and vocalist Keijo Niinimaa established itself during the following decade as one of the most exciting names in terms of hard and fast music. Deftly handling fierce brutality and massive aggression, they have released eight highly acclaimed studio albums and also eight EPs full of intelligent songwriting, precise arrangements and musical fluency, always spiced up by the necessary doses of death metal and colossal grooves.
