The amount of beer that TANKARD and their fans have consumed ever since their formation in Frankfurt over four decades ago would probably be enough to drown the entire world in one apocalyptic, delirious, final alcoholic apocalypse party. Even if their first couple of albums in the 80s were more about zombies (isn’t that a bit unthinkable now?), they soon realised what their true inspiration lied, and have kept true to the theme ever since. Of course, no amount of beer would save mediocre music, so it’s great that the golden liquid has fuelled some absolutely prime thrash that keeps defying longevity with great albums that just keep coming (the latest, «Pavolv’s Dawgs», is from 2022) and even better shows. Get your taps and ears ready for Tankard’s alcoholic thrash attack!
